Our Research & Library Services Team can assist you with any type of research request, large or small—

  • breaking down brick walls
  • creating biographical narratives on your ancestors
  • obtaining probate records
  • creating custom charts
  • translate/transcribe records
  • lineage society applications

Our (20) person Team is knowledgeable in all geographic areas and can assist in translating in many languages.

To proceed, you will start with an Expert Assessment project, completed by an expert Researcher on our Team. Pricing for our Expert Assessment starts at $700 for American Ancestors members and $840 for non-members.

During this one-day (7 hours) research assessment, we will review your current family research, complete preliminary research, and produce a detailed strategy for you to proceed on your journey.

Upon completion of the assessment, you can choose to continue the research on your own or hire our Research & Library Services Team to continue and conduct further research on your behalf.

With each Expert Assessment project, you will receive:

  • A list of specific resources examined
  • Copies of any records discovered during the Assessment
  • A detailed strategy for what can be accomplished with additional research-for-hire
  • Suggestions for further independent research
